Ok… So… You probably find such examples of improvements in Trimble’s years as : Nice to read that a member of SketchUp team could post here personal opinion. Maybe that would then look like more was new. It would be nice if there was a tool type that nobody had thought of so far, that could be added in the next update. That may then look like less things were new. Even version 1 had most of the tools in there, but early on the updates may well have introduced new tools, and the later updates try to improve how the tools work. I wish I had the time to list all of the new features for each release, it would be an interesting thing to look at.

Various bug fixes and stability improvements.This could be very useful in using SketchUp to import existing conditions on construction sites. Interoperability with Trimble surveying tools like the V10 imaging tool.Various improvements to the SketchUp developer API.Added functionality for using SketchUp in conjunction with more BIM applications by importing IFC files.SketchUp has marked the styles that run more quickly in the style manager so you can quickly select a style based not only on looks, but also on performance. There are also styles that run more quickly. Many styles, while cool looking, create a higher demand on your computer. They’ve “badged” styles that run quickly in SketchUp.Single user license entry is easier now, but the big change is they now offer a network license manager so that multiple users at the same company can check out a license. They’ve upgraded their license manager to make it more user friendly (this mostly effects paid license users).Trials of SketchUp Pro are now 30 days, instead of 8 hours of use.I haven’t had a chance to test this, but they’re stating that this is creating big performance gains in larger models.
